I’m seeing Vampire Academy everywhere today. I think I’m going to have to go back and reread that book because when I read it in highschool I remember thinking it was one of the worst book I had ever read. At the same time, I was a complete book snob and probably didn’t know what I was talking about.

Haha I was book snob too!
I went into that one being like, “Oh I am SOOOO over the vampire phase!” So I was kind of expecting to hate it so I think I was really surprised when I liked it! 🙂

I do not know what it says about me that I have read almost ALL of these (the only one I haven’t is Spellman)! I always love seeing Meg Cabot pop up on people’s list because I am such a fangirl of hers. And of course so much love for the first 5 (Childhood/YA)

I’m with you–I didn’t read a ton of YA before I started blogging. I read a few of the Janet Evanovich books and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, and of course the HP series. It wasn’t until I started blogging that I became so immersed in YA, and I wouldn’t have it any other way 🙂

Great list! I think the only difference blogging has made in terms of books I love, is that it has opened up my eyes to wider world of books. If I wasn’t blogging, I might not be reading the variety of books I read now.

Oh a lot of these would be on my list too! I read THG, The Vampire Academy series, and Dragon Tattoo series before I started my blog. I haven’t read The Gver yet (It intimidates me lol) and I just read Delirium last month >.<

I really need to read more of the Size 12 is not Fat series! I read the first one a while back and loved it! I also want to read the Stephanie Plum series; I tried to find the first one in the series at the bookstore over the weekend… they didn’t have it. You’ve got some great choices on your list! 🙂

Some awesome choices here!! Especially Girl with the Dragon Tattoo…definitely one of my all-time faves. Started my love affair with Sweden (I want to go to there so bad). The books I read pre-blog definitely influence my current reading life…many of the books I look to review are similar in tone/genre to my past favorites.

Harry Potter definitely would make any list of mine as well :). I’ve got to get around to reading The Hunger Games at some point. Like you I didn’t read YA before I started to blog and it kind of seems like that’s all I ever read anymore! It’s not necessarily a bad thing, but I’d like to branch out more and discover other books.

    Great List Brittany!

There are a number of books that I haven’t read on your list, as well as a few that I have read. One Day was on the shortlist of my ten this week, but a lot of them got cut off. It was hard narrowing down ten I think.

I am happy to see fellow One Day lovers though it got cut off my short list too. So many books to pick from I found I kept going back and changing my list.
