Oh my gosh, you guys, it’s THE SEA OF TRANQUILITY blog tour!!! I cannot tell you how excited I am to be a part of the tour. Ever since I first read the book back in November (wow, I can’t believe it’s been that long already!), I have been fangirling for the book and its amazing author, Katja Millay.
THE SEA OF TRANQUILITY is a powerful character-driven contemporary novel surrounding the mysterious and withdrawn Nastya as she begins to develop a relationship with the one person who seems just as beautifully broken as she is: Josh Bennett. Josh Bennett!!! *fans self* Love that boy. Anyway… back to the book… Nastya and Josh really drive the story home, folks. They feel like extremely real people and the novel just flows so amazingly that I found myself gobbling it up and not wanting it to end all at the same time. These characters take you on an emotional journey and you can’t help but get swept up in their stories!
The blog tour for THE SEA OF TRANQUILITY celebrates its paperback release on June 4th, 2013! It actually started out as an indie novel but with all of the praise and glorious feedback it received, the ever-wise-ones at Simon and Schuster took Katja’s story and gave it a home at S&S to reach even more fans!

Before I even try to convince you further if you haven’t read this book yet, let’s look at the stats, shall we? This is a screen cap of the current rating on Goodreads.com: Out of 12,687 ratings, this book has received an average rating of 4.57 stars. I’d say that’s a pretty amazing rating!!
I know many of you out there have already read THE SEA OF TRANQUILITY and probably already have your paperback version pre-ordered so I want to make this blog tour exciting for all of us TSoT fangirls! (Or fanboys (fanboys? Is that the correct term?)) Just for fun, I want to hear what your favorite aspect of THE SEA OF TRANQUILITY was while you were reading. For me, it was definitely the fact that the characters felt so real. I really fell into sync with Nastya and Josh’s relationship and the surprise character of the bunch who I LOVED was totally Drew! I never expected to be so swept away by these characters. What was your favorite part? The romance? The mystery? Did you love the characters like I did? Was there a certain scene that made your heart melt? Did you bawl your eyes out? (Guilty.)
For those of you who haven’t read the book yet, what are you waiting for!?! No, just kidding. But seriously, TSoT is honestly one of my favorite contemporary novels of all time. I’m sure you can ask a ton of people who have read it and they will all come gushing back to you how amazing this novel was! I’m not sure I did the book much justice in my review, but I couldn’t help from going on and on about the things I loved about it!

My favorite part of this novel was definitely the male characters, particularly Josh and Drew. Something about the way Katja wrote them just clicked with me. They seemed so REAL.
