Book and a Beverage [21] – Jac from For Life, Love and Books

Book and a Beverage

Welcome back to BOOK AND A BEVERAGE!

In case you don’t know the deal about Book and a Beverage, it’s a very simple yet fun feature: We read books, we drink beverages, we take pictures of them and then I share your photos and a little about you to the blogging world!

Give a big welcome to Jac from For Life, Love and Books!

TheBlog

Name & Blog Name: Jac @ For Life, Love and Books
Tell us a little about your blog! I started blogging to have a place to share my book addictions, and it’s morphed into so much more!
What’s been your favorite post you’ve written so far? (Link us up!) That’s a tough one!! In 2.5 years I’ve had a lot of posts I really like! I’d have to say… The Top Ten Tuesday about Book Boyfriends!  (Or the Non-Bookish “Truck Tour” I gave of my Husband’s Semi Truck… But like I said, non bookish.)
Got anything special coming up we should know about?
I am working with a good friend to co-sponser a read-along! But? I can’t giveaway anymore details than that right now 😉

TheBook

image (2)Whatcha reading? Re-Read of Jenn Cooksey’s Shark Bait (Actually re-reading all three books that are currently out in the series.)
Where did it come from? (Library, purchased, publisher, etc) Personal copies
Any special reason you chose to feature this book? I’ve been in a bit of a reading slump, and Jenn’s books always tend to bring me out of that slump!
What’s important that we should know about this book? Would you recommend it? It’s hilarious!! Seriously, this series is my absolute favorite! And yes, I’d recommend it! (So long as you like YA, you were once a teen, you are a teen or you like to read.)

image (1)Whatcha drinking? Stash Tea!
What’s your favorite thing to drink while reading? If it’s at night? I always have a mug of tea. During the day, Diet Coke (or sometimes, if I’m being “good” water.)
Favorite beverage of all time. Go! Kiwi Margarita – from my favorite local Mexican Restaurant. (Or, Diet Coke.)

Bonus

What are your top three books you would recommend to other people? Shark Bait by Jenn Cooksey, Lucky Harbor Series by Jill Shalvis and The Stand by Stephen King.  (Although I’m picky about who I recommend King too – since his books are tad on the long side!)
What’s your proudest blogging/reading/writing moment? Being asked to co-blog with a friend (non-bookish, local blog) because she enjoyed reading my blog so much! So now? I actually get paid to blog!! But I still love my bookish blog more ;))
Anything else you’d like to share? Just want to thank you for letting me participate in this awesome and fantastic feature!

Thanks, Jac!! So happy to have you on Book and a Beverage!
Kiwi Margarita sounds deeeelish! And now I definitely have to check out Shark Bait! I love books with a great sense of humor!
