Name & Blog Name: Brittney, A Bookworm’s Escape
Tell us a little about your blog! I started this blog after reading the first book in The Lux Series by Jennifer L. Armentrout. The main character Katy had a book blog and while I was ready I thought to myself why don’t I do that. I have always loved reading and have not always had people to talk about it with. I started my blog and immediately fell in love with being able to connect with all kinds of people about the books we love to read. I have only had my blog for about a year now and am trying to get better at being more consistent with my posts but I am finding out that isn’t that easy.
What’s been your favorite post you’ve written so far? (Link us up!) My favorite post at the moment would probably be the review that I did for a book called In the After by Elisa Dane. This one if my favorite right now because it is the best book that I have read so far this year and it was one that was out of my comfort zone for what I usually like to read.
Got anything special coming up we should know about? I don’t have anything planned right now, but I will be trying to do more posts that aren’t just reviews.

book

Whatcha reading? Girl Online On Tour by Zoe Sugg
Where did it come from? (Library, purchased, publisher, etc) Bought it from Barnes and Noble
Any special reason you chose to feature this book? This is a book that I will be reading soon and I wanted to feature it because when I read the first book I was really unsure about it but by the time I finish I was sucked into the story and very excited to see where it goes and what happens to the characters.
What’s important that we should know about this book? Would you recommend it? I would definitely recommend the first book and most likely this one when I’m done reading it.

beverage

Whatcha drinking? Chai Latte in my Alice in Wonderland cup the reads “I give myself very good advice but I very seldom follow it!”
What’s your favorite thing to drink while reading? I like to drink something warm while I read like a hot chocolate or cappuccino or a chai latte.
Favorite beverage of all time. Go! My favorite beverage of all time would have to be a black raspberry milkshake!

bonus

What are your top three books you would recommend to other people? I would have to say the first one would be the book that I mentioned above, In the After by Elisa Dane, second would be The Legend of the Blue Eyes by B.Kristen McMichael, and third would  be The Covenant Series by Jennifer L. Armentrout.
What’s your proudest blogging/reading/writing moment? My proudest moment blogging would have to be just starting my blog because I have a bit of self consciousness about my writing and if people would want to read what I had to say about a book. Whenever I see that someone likes a post I have done or even looked at one of my posts it gives me a little peice of confidence in myself.

Thanks so much, Brittney! I need to check out your recommendations — I haven’t read any of them!!
