There’s nothing wrong with this kind of cheating – because more books for em to fatten up my reading list with 🙂 Seriously, I loved The Scorpio Races, and although I’m not much of a re-reader, I had to do it this December again.

I’m so glad you loved The Scorpio Races and OBVIOUSLY everyone probably would have disowned you if you hadn’t loved Mistborn, so that’s a relief! Scorpio is probably my favorite Stiefvater book although I love the Raven Cycle as a whole … tough call. Scorpio is just quietly beautiful. The recent movie announcement is pretty much terrifying! I hope they can do it justice.

Locke Lamora is in my TBR pile now so I’m hoping to get to it in the next few months. I’ve heard so many great things.

I suck so bad at finishing series. Ruin and Rising has been waiting on me for months, and I just don’t want it to end!!

MISTBORN. Brittany, I’M STILL BROKEN FROM HERO OF AGES. I will never recover. NEVER.

I have Nantucket Blue on my Kindle! Is it cute?

    AWESOME LIST!
(additional flails for Mortal Heart and Heir of Fire BECAUSE OF REASONS)

I debated whether to add in books i read before and after 2014, but then the list became too many LOL! I mean there’s a reason it’s a top 10 😉 haha! Great picks! I’m dying to start Raven Cycle series!! Open Road Summer and Nantucket Red made my list too!

I LOVE that you included rereads because, hello, I spend half my life rereading. Also, you’re making me regret never reading Nantucket Blue (since obviously I can’t read book 2 without book 1). Fabulous list!

YES! I think I cheated just as much as you! But if I hadn’t it would have been nothing but Brandon Sanderson and Rainbow Rowell! Accurate but not fair to all the other great books! I also have the Mistborn trilogy, the Grisha trilogy, and the Raven Cycle on my list. Great choices!

Yeaaaah I ended up with 23 books for this one. WHOOPS.
I included the 10 five star reads I had in 2014 and then focused a little more on 13 four and four and a half star books, because I feel like those don’t get as much attention!

Gentleman Bastards Sequence is my top read of the year, hands down. Well, almost. One hand down, the other hand goes to Gone With The Wind, but yes. Brilliant, brilliant books.
