Walk Two Moons by Sharon Creech

Comments: Salamanca Tree Hiddle immediately made Walk Two Moons one of my favorite books of my childhood when I first read it. I loved her and I loved her story. I’m really not sure at exactly what age I read it but to this day it’s stuck with me and I just remember even as a kid wanting to be friends with Sal! If you’re looking for a good MG read, this is it!

Comments: Okay. You guys already know my love for the Heather Wells series, but how can I not include her on my list of favorite heroines? She’s spunky, she’s tough, and she’s one of my all-time favorites! In fact, I had borrowed the first few books from my sister and the fourth book was the only one I owned since I bought it when it just came out over the summer. Now the tables are turned and she borrowed the fourth book from me and I bought the first three from the used book store!
