Welcome back to BOOK AND A BEVERAGE!
In case you don’t know the deal about Book and a Beverage, it’s a very simple yet fun feature: We read books, we drink beverages, we take pictures of them and then I share your photos and a little about you to the blogging world!
Give a big welcome to Justine from Paperback Heart!
Name & Blog Name: Justine/Paperback Heart
Tell us a little about your blog! I’ve been blogging since mid-February this time around – I tried the book blogging thing a few years ago, but decided it was too much work and quit after about three posts. Now I mostly review YA titles, but I do a healthy mix of adult and new adult, too.
What’s been your favorite post you’ve written so far? (Link us up!) My favorite posts so far are my review for Graffiti Moon, my review for Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe, and my review of the first three books in the Bloodlines series. I don’t know if I like the first two reviews so much because they became two of my favorite books, or if I actually just like the reviews.
Got anything special coming up we should know about? My blogiversary is coming up in February, so I’ll be doing a giveaway and celebration sort of thing for that.
Whatcha reading? Where the Stars Still Shine by Trish Doller
Where did it come from? (Library, purchased, publisher, etc) I bought it
Any special reason you chose to feature this book? It’s what I’m currently reading.
What’s important that we should know about this book? Would you recommend it? I totally recommend! It’s been out for a little while now, so if you haven’t read it already definitely get on it.
Whatcha drinking? An iced chai latte.
What’s your favorite thing to drink while reading? I really only drink water, coffee, and protein shakes. If I’m feeling fancy I’ll have a green juice. I always have at least one of those 4 things nearby while reading/at all times.
Favorite beverage of all time. Go! A double dark chocolate, banana, and peanut butter milkshake from the little ice cream place I worked at in high school.
What are your top three books you would recommend to other people? Besides the two I listed above (not the Bloodlines series, that’s for sure): Ready Player One by Ernest Cline, Gorgeous by Paul Rudnick, and Nowhere But Home by Liza Palmer.
What’s your proudest blogging/reading/writing moment? Actually sticking with blogging this time! These last 10 months have been a lot of fun .
Anything else you’d like to share? Nope! Thanks for having me!
Thanks, Justine! WOW, that shake sounds delicious! And I’m so happy to see Ready Player One as one of your recs!! That’s definitely a favorite of mine as well. If you haven’t listened to the audio, I highly recommend it!!
I hope you enjoyed getting to know Justine! You can find out more about Justine at her blog, Paperback Heart, on Twitter, Goodreads, Pinterest, Instagram, and Tumblr!

You picked a good book to read Justine! I really enjoyed Where the Stars Still Shine, and I hope you did too!
I did! I thought it was great!
An iced chai latte sounds perfect right now! Ready Player One is a great book. I recommended it to so many of my friends.
We weirdly get summer weather in October/November here, so it’s still hitting 80 (or close to) some days…and there are freaking snow flakes on my cold drink cups from Starbucks! haha
