Top Ten Tuesday – December 3, 2013: Top Ten 2014 Releases I’m Dying To Read

TTT

It’s Top Ten Tuesday, hosted by the wonderful blog at The Broke and the Bookish! This week’s topic:  Top Ten 2014 Releases I’m Dying To Read

Well the good news is, I have an “OMG can’t wait” shelf on Goodreads so finding which books I wanted to choose from was no sweat. The bad news? There are way too many 2014 releases that I’m dying for!

FollowEmail (As usual, I cheated. There are twelve on this list, not ten. I am SUCH a TTT cheater haha!!)

Which ones have made your Top Ten Tuesday list? The only amazing 2014 title I didn’t include was CRESS because I’ve already read it and died and loved and cried and all of the FEELINGS that come with that book, so yeah. I’m not really “waiting” for it but I really can’t wait to buy the hardcover!

I totally didn’t notice there were 12. 🙂 I had the hardest time limiting mine to 10 today because I want to read everything! I’m super excited for Isla next year & The Chapel Wars. Love both of those ladies’ books.

    Happy TTT!

Is it bad or wonderful that 2014 isn’t even here yet and I’m already pegging CRESS as my favorite? Haha, it’s totally unfair but sighhhh. THAT BOOK.

So many good books to look forward to! I’m especially excited to read Going Rogue, Isla (*crosses fingers*) and The Chapel Wars. Looks to be an awesome 2014 in books!

Oooh crossing my fingers for Isla too! I’m nervous for it. I definitely want to start Going Rogue soon too! 🙂

Oh girl, I am so with you on Into the Still Blue. One of my friends has read it and she keeps teasing me with little hints about it and it’s driving me crazy! I also want to read Isla and the Happily Ever After. I have to read Lola and the Boy Next Door first, but I’m excited nonetheless!

Yes!! I cannot wait to see how that trilogy ends. I think it’s going to be fantastic! Also super anxious for Ilsa. I just love Stephanie Perkins! Thanks for commenting 🙂 🙂

Dorothy Must Die is making a lot of lists today, but I’m unsure about it. I love the original story, with Dorothy as the heroine, so I don’t know if this reinterpretation would work for me!

I can see that! I don’t know too much about it but I’m such a sucker for retellings so I’m definitely interested and excited for it! 🙂

I snagged a copy of Better Off Friends at my conference last weekend (Eulberg read an except at two different sessions, too), and heard Lindsey Leavitt talk about Chapel Wars a few times. I hadn’t read books by either, though I had seen the Selective Collective feature of Going Vintage. I was actually intrigued by both and I’m looking forward to reading them in 2014. Sometimes I need to be whacked over the head to try new things! I’ll be looking forward to your reviews!

Oooooooh very lucky!! I’m so excited to read more Eulberg books. Revenge of the Girl with the Great Personality was actually my first of hers but I’m definitely anxious to read more! 🙂

I ALMOST forgot it too since it doesn’t have a specific date yet (I was filtering through GR haha!)
I’m so curious about Dorothy Must Die and YAY for Shadow and Bone!!!! I cannot wait for you to read it! Haha

Thank you!! TTEN was so good — Maybe even better than the first! I hope you love Pivot Point too! That was such a fun read and I loved how Kasie West set the whole thing up 🙂

I’m glad you mentioned Ruin and Rising because you’ve reminded me that I really need to get to reading the second one so I’m ready for when this comes out!

So many good ones! Ruin and Rising, Dorothy must Die, Mortal Heart and Isla for sure! I still have Cress on my most anticipated because I haven’t read it yet, and it comes out the day before my birthday 🙂

I have Grave Mercy at home but I haven’t read it yet. I’ve heard great things about it too so I have to get to it soon. Especially since another book of this series is coming out next year! And ohmygod you have no idea how excited I am for Into The Still Blue. That was a second dystopian series I’ve read (the first being THG) and it really instilled my love for YA.
