Tell us a little about your blog! I started Stay Bookish a little more than half a year ago because of my passion for reading. I had already started writing reviews and making small book posts even before but I wanted a blog that would show how enthusiastic I am about books as well as a blog that would help me keep up that enthusiasm. Stay Bookish was exactly what I needed. I now write about books in so many different ways- reviews, lists, photos (of book hauls), soundtracks, and discussions. I love YA and Contemporary so those are genres I usually focus on. Still, my blog is super book-lover friendly. 😉
What’s been your favorite post you’ve written so far? (Link us up!) Can I give my top two? First would be my list of Book Characters Who Write Lists. T
Got anything special coming up we should know about? I’m doing a giveaway of a signed copy If I Stay on my blog! Also, I’m having some authors join me for my Story Soundtrack feature which is really exciting.
Whatcha reading? Just One Day by Gayle Forman
Where did it come from? (Library, purchased, publisher, etc) I purchased it from National Book Store, one of the local book shops where I live.
Any special reason you chose to feature this book? Featured this one because everyone needs to read it and because I have the compulsive need to spread my love for this author and this book!
What’s important that we should know about this book? Would you recommend it? Just One Day is about a girl and boy who spend a whole day together in beautiful Paris. Allyson, the protagonist, is someone who a lot of us can relate to, I think. Plus the writing really is just wonderful! I HIGHLY recommend Just One Day!
Whatcha drinking? Green Tea Matcha Latte from Serenitea.
What’s your favorite thing to drink while reading? Tea- it’s such a soothing drink for reading books. Any kind of tea is fine with me- Earl Grey, Green tea, Peach tea (love the smell of that one), Milk Tea (aka Chai)!
Favorite beverage of all time. Go! Hot chocolateeeeee forevah! I don’t drink this while reading though because chocolate makes me mostly hyperactive and I wouldn’t be able to focus on what I’m reading much.
What are your top three books you would recommend to other people? My recommendations are always changing like my favorite books, also depending on who I’m recommending to, but at the moment, I would recommend Under Never Sky (cheating here but I recommend the whole series okay), The Sea of Tranquility and Graffiti Moon. 🙂
What’s your proudest blogging/reading/writing moment? My proudest blogging moment would be when I started doing discussions on the blog. That was seriously a breakout for me. I’m just not the type to do those kinds of things but I’ve always wanted to start sharing my opinion and thoughts more. I think starting discussions was a large step to establishing my voice even more. I was very proud that I chose to do them after all.
Anything else you’d like to share? I am a huge fan of Brittany’s blog so I feel extremely happy to be here and be a part of what I think is one of the coolest features in the bookish community.
