Top Ten Tuesday – February 11, 2014: Top Ten Books That Will Make You Swoon

TTT

It’s Top Ten Tuesday, hosted by the wonderful blog at The Broke and the Bookish! This week’s topic:  Top Ten Books That Will Make You Swoon

It was easy and hard all at the same time to come up with my book boyfriends again but luckily, I have a shelf on Goodreads called “All the Swoons” so I already had a good reference going! It was really hard to cut some out, but when it came down to it, I could only pick ten. So here we go, in a sort of “minimalist poster” style… Top Ten Books That Will Make You Swoon!

I love so many of the books on your list, but my main takeaway is: aaaahhhh these posters/graphics are seriously so awesome! I loved that I’d read so many of these books and knew the significance of the object you chose to feature. So talented 🙂

Oh my goodness, Cress! I just finished that book a day ago and I have been swooning ever since. Marissa Meyer has completely outdone herself with that book. And Thorne? Knock me over with a feather, that one could.

&&FanGirl, & Anna! Oh they’re just lovely. 🙂 Great list!

I intended to leave a comment about the books, but seriously, those posters are AWESOME. It was a great idea to do minimalist for the titles! And it turned out lovely.

Did you create these posters? STOP BEING SO AWESOME! I love them. Like I want that Siege & Storm poster in my room. I also wouldn’t mind Sturmhond in my room. A girl can dream, right? 🙂

There are SO many books I have to read. Gah! I can’t do it fast enough! YES to Anna. I left that one off because I felt like it was a given, but now I want her on my list! Haha. I have never heard of Confessions of an Angry Girl. I’m intrigued. And I am so excited to get to Ask Again Later! and Book of Broken Hearts… Great list! I must go read all the things.

I AM STARTING SIEGE AND STORM TMRW 🙂 I forgot to update you on Twitter about S&B when we were chatting, but YES I loved it obviously 🙂 I’ve been Sturmhond is just AHHH!!! But I am partial to The Darkling still *hides*. Also Anna. yes to Anna. And hopefully sometime in the near future I will be able to get my hands on The Book of Broken Hearts. I love your images! ZUZ! MIK!!! *heart explodes from cuteness and love* Also, I can’t have any lists about swoons or book boyfriends or favorite romances without Etienne. I just can’t do it at all. I need to read Confessions of an Angry Girl, too. I know you loved Jamie! I was so mad at myself for forgetting Josh Bennett! But YES TO HIM.

I loved Thorne in Cress, but Wolf is the one who has my heart in that series. I need to meet this Sturmhond guy. And The Darkling. Basically I need to drop everything and read S&B right now. I also really want to read Sea of Tranquility. Excited to hear that there is a swoony guy. 🙂

I’d kind of given up on novellas, but if Night of Cake and Puppets was able to make you swoon, maybe I should give novellas another go!

I just picked up Cress today and I’m pumped to be reunited with Captain Thorne! He’s the reason I enjoyed Scarlet as much as I did 🙂

We have some of the same choices. I don’t know how I forgot about Josh Bennett, lots of shame on me for that one. I think I’m going to put Confessions of an Angry Girl on my spring TBR list, I’ve wanted to read it forever and I feel like you mention it a lot. I even have it waiting for me on my Kindle!

Of course I agree on Josh Bennett and Levi (just realized he doesn’t have a last name. I almost called him Levi Strauss, which wtf, brain?). Such perfect choices for their graphics too! I really like that special touch.

LEVI. THORNE. Excellent, as usual. Excellent. I love for Levi you have a Starbucks logo! That made me laugh. I’m glad I’m reading The Books of Broken Hearts sometimes soon-ish, since I’ve seen you have it on so many list!

Haha thank you! I was trying to think of what I could use for the book as a whole and then I thought more of Levi and it was just perfect! 😀
Oooooh do read that one soon! I’m scared but I hope you love it! Please love it 🙂
