I actually did my spine poetry just last night and just like last year, it kind of got away from me hahaha. It was actually really fun and honestly, I love staring at my books and figuring out new ways to organize them. I’m staining the bookcase this weekend so they’re currently in piles on my floors so it was actually kind of perfect timing! It gave me a sense of accomplishment haha.
Okay, picture of the books first and then you get to read it as the poem below! (Don’t mind my messy house!)
(And sorry this was kind of confusing — they’re all one giant poem, not three separate ones!)
Whew! That was so much fun! My poems always turn out so dark… Probably because I have so many dystopians and paranormals haha! What did you guys think?? I had an absolute blast coming up with it!!

That’s an amazing job with the book spine poem challenge! I liked the third,
“Fire. A Million Suns” the best though all three are great!
Okay, all the slow claps for this! LOVE IT. . . and the darkness for sure. I’m amazed at how many books you managed to fit in there(and more amazed I recognized every one!!).
This is great and I especially loved that way you structured the words as well, it’s very impressive!
Wow, Brittany! I love every single one of your poems! You’ve gotta do more of these and publish them! For real! =)

Wow. That is gorgeous, it gave me goosebumps.
I am not NEARLY creative enough to actually come up with something like that based on the titles of books. O_O I am SO tempted to try this though…
I wish I had known about this event earlier. THERE IS ALWAYS NEXT YEAR. I shall try with my epic poetry skills 😛 Hopefully what I come up with will be at least half as good as yours.
Okay, soooo…You just kind of blew us all out of the water! So fantastic, Brittany! You were right–they’re dark, but so fantastic! Amazing job!!

Wow!! I thought I did well with my four (?) lines! Haha
The creativity people show with this challenge blows my mind!
Hey, four lines is still awesome! I just love anything that people come up with! It’s so interesting to see where this one takes people 🙂
Brilliant! And ambitious! They’re dark, but beautiful.
Thank you! It just kind of kept going haha. The one for last year turned out dark too. I guess I just have a lot of dark books LOL! 🙂
