Book Blogger Love-A-Thon 2014: Spine Poetry

Book Blogger Love-A-Thon 2014I actually did my spine poetry  just last night and just like last year, it kind of got away from me hahaha. It was actually really fun and honestly, I love staring at my books and figuring out new ways to organize them. I’m staining the bookcase this weekend so they’re currently in piles on my floors so it was actually kind of perfect timing! It gave me a sense of accomplishment haha.

Okay, picture of the books first and then you get to read it as the poem below! (Don’t mind my messy house!)

(And sorry this was kind of confusing — they’re all one giant poem, not three separate ones!)

Whew! That was so much fun! My poems always turn out so dark… Probably because I have so many dystopians and paranormals haha! What did you guys think?? I had an absolute blast coming up with it!!

That’s an amazing job with the book spine poem challenge! I liked the third,
“Fire. A Million Suns” the best though all three are great!

Okay, all the slow claps for this! LOVE IT. . . and the darkness for sure. I’m amazed at how many books you managed to fit in there(and more amazed I recognized every one!!).

Wow. That is gorgeous, it gave me goosebumps.

I am not NEARLY creative enough to actually come up with something like that based on the titles of books. O_O I am SO tempted to try this though…

I wish I had known about this event earlier. THERE IS ALWAYS NEXT YEAR. I shall try with my epic poetry skills 😛 Hopefully what I come up with will be at least half as good as yours.

HOLY MOLY. Brittany, your poem seriously just blew me away! It’s amazing, and imaginative and evokes images dark, deceptive and slightly uneasy. WONDERFUL JOB. I’m seriously in awe.

This is amazing!!! That’s like…not even close to what my poems are. You become a full-time book spine poet! You’re great! Okay wow, I just…no words. LOVE IT.
