Name & Blog Name: Jess | Gone with the Words
TMITell us a little about your blog! I started Gone with the Words in 2011 after falling back in love with reading, after devouring what many were devouring at the time: Twilight. Yes, that’s right! But it wasn’t until after falling in love with The Mortal Instruments and following all those fandom blogs that I realized I wanted to write about books too!
Since then I’ve added 3 reviewers to the roster, posted over 330 reviews, and have gotten 3 or 4 blog redesigns. lol I hope we can stick around for a few more years, if not forever. 😉
What’s been your favorite post you’ve written so far? (Link us up!) Back in 2011 I wrote up a series of posts all about the boys in Sarah Dessen’s book, I give you “The Boys of Dessen.
Got anything special coming up we should know about? I’m participating in Bout of Books! You should consider joining the fun. 🙂

Bout of Books

book

042915Whatcha reading? The One That Got Away by Bethany Chase
Where did it come from? (Library, purchased, publisher, etc): Publisher
Any special reason you chose to feature this book? I loved it so much and want more people to read it!
What’s important that we should know about this book? Would you recommend it?  It’s about that one person that got away, the one you always think about years down the road. It’s about figuring what you want your life to be and finding the people that will support that. It’s about home, family, friends, and love. Also, it’s set in Austin, a place I really love.

beverageWhatcha drinking? Coffee!
What’s your favorite thing to drink while reading? Coffee!
Favorite beverage of all time. Go! Coffee! 🙂

bonus

What are your top three books you would recommend to other people? I’m going with books I’ve read this year only because holy hell, hard question! Adult: The One That Got Away by Bethany Chase | Young Adult: I’ll Meet You There by Heather Demetrios
What’s your proudest blogging/reading/writing moment? The most amazing thing that’s come from blogging is all the friendships I’ve made and all the travel I’ve gotten to do.
Anything else you’d like to share? Speaking of travel, I’ll be heading to New York at the end of May for BEA! It’ll be the first time I fly alone. Eeep! And it’ll be the first time I’ll be meeting so many of the friends I’ve made through blogging! Will I see you there??
ALSO! Huge THANK YOU to Brittany for having me on her blog today. She’s one of the friends I’ll be meeting at BEA and I can’t wait! 😀

Thank you, Jess!!! I am SOOO excited to meet you at BEA! Yay!! It’s going to be a wonderful time.
Ahhh, coffee ;D You know what you like!
Hmmm sounds like I should read The One That Got Away! It actually sounds like I would like it and I don’t really too much adult contemp!
