Welcome back to BOOK AND A BEVERAGE!

In case you don’t know the deal about Book and a Beverage, it’s a very simple yet fun feature: We read books, we drink beverages, we take pictures of them and then I share your photos and a little about you to the blogging world!

Name & Blog Name: Michelle — Unraveling Books
Tell us a little about your blog! I started Unraveling Books in May 2013 at the persistence of my sister. She was always pushing me to write reviews about movies or TV shows because whenever I would see a movie or something, I would call her and explain what was good and bad about it. So we went online and started researching book bloggers and I found Anna from Anna Reads and I just thought her blog was so cute and her reviews were short so I knew I didn’t need to be an amazing writer! And the rest is history!
What’s been your favorite post you’ve written so far? (Link us up!) My experience at Wordstock in Portland, Oregon. It was my first big author event and it was sooooo much fun!! I got to meet Jessica Brody, Stephanie Perkins, and more!
Got anything special coming up we should know about? Unfortunately, I don’t. Just a lot of reviews for books that I’ve requested through Xpresso Book Tours. I’ve had some ideas for new features but I’m so busy that my time is limited this year.

book

Whatcha reading? 99 Days by Katie Cotugno
Where did it come from? (Library, purchased, publisher, etc): Purchased from Wal-Mart
Any special reason you chose to feature this book? I am obsessed with the cover and the inside of the book! I think it’s so pretty!
What’s important that we should know about this book? Would you recommend it? I’m only on page 66 so I don’t feel like I can offer too much but to me this is a fun, fluff read perfect for summer. I don’t have to think too much and I can just relax.

beverageWhatcha drinking? Water!
What’s your favorite thing to drink while reading? Water – I know it’s boring but I have to drink water nonstop all day otherwise I will get headaches!
Favorite beverage of all time. Go! Caramel Hot Chocolate or regular Hot Chocolate. I’ll drink HC even in the summer when it’s above 80! But the HC has to be from 7-Eleven. I’m very picky!

bonus

What are your top three books you would recommend to other people? 1. A Walk to Remember by Nicholas Sparks |  2. Dear John by Nicholas Sparks |  3. Just One Day by Gayle Forman
What’s your proudest blogging/reading/writing moment? Discovering Nicholas Sparks when I was in middle school. That man is a genius!
Anything else you’d like to share? Thank you SO much for having me Brittany! I’m so impressed by all of the work that you do and love checking your blog everyday! You rock! 🙂

Thank you, Michelle!! Such a pleasure having you on the blog today!
I actually haven’t read that many Nicholas Sparks books!! Maybe two before I started blogging. I may have to pick up a new one here soon! 🙂

This is my first time coming to your blog and I love the layout! It’s so pretty 😀 The feature sounds pretty cool too.
I haven’t read 99 Days, I’ve been getting behind on my reading >.< But cool feature!

Hot Chocolate from 7-Eleven?? I have never had one of those and they are right downstairs from my work. HMMM…

And I really enjoyed 99 Days! I read it as an eBook but seeing the pretty hardcover and naked hardcover made me wish I read that type instead.
