We’re in the second half of 2022 and there are still some sequels I can’t wait to read in the next year or so! Here are the upcoming sequels I’m looking forward to reading soon.

GREYWAREN (The Dreamer Trilogy #3) by MAGGIE STIEFVATER
I’m a HUGE fan of Maggie Stiefvater’s Raven Cycle books and The Dreamer Trilogy is a little spin-off of that series, so if you haven’t read The Raven Boys and its sequels, I highly recommend you start there! It’s been so much fun to spend more time with Ronan in this trilogy and I can’t believe I have to say goodbye to (some of) these characters yet again! Reading GREYWAREN will definitely be a little bittersweet but I will not wait or put it off because I can’t wait to see what happens, especially after the way book two, MISTER IMPOSSIBLE, ended!
GREYWAREN is out October 18, 2022 from Scholastic Press. Find it on: Goodreads // Amazon
THE LOST METAL (Wax & Wayne #4, Mistborn # 7) by BRANDON SANDERSON
If you’ve followed my social media accounts or blog for any given amount of time, you know I’m a big fan of Brandon Sanderson and specifically the Mistborn series. THE LOST METAL is the last book in the Wax & Wayne portion of this on-going series with multiple eras (like Star Wars!), this one being the second. The more the series progresses, the more information we get and with this big fantasy world, there’s so much world-building going on that it gets more and more exciting with each book!
This second era of the Mistborn series felt a little lighter than the first three books, but there’s also a ton more packed into these last couple books that open up even more doors that I didn’t even know existed. I may need a series reread before this one releases to get a refresher but I’m so excited to see how this goes down!
THE LOST METAL is out November 15, 2022 from Tor Books. Find it on: Goodreads // Amazon
HELL BENT (Alex Stern #2) by LEIGH BARDUGO
I’m always a big fan of whatever Leigh Bardugo writes! NINTH HOUSE was quite different from the Grishaverse books, but I still really enjoy it! It took a while for me to get the feel of it and I didn’t connect with it in every way, but I really ended up enjoying it in the end and there was a lot that happened in its finale.
HELL BENT picks up where NINTH HOUSE left off and I’m excited to see where things go from here! I ended up making a connection to the characters and one was left in a sticky situation, so I absolutely have to know where things end up there! The cover definitely creeps me out more than I like, but I still need own this delightfully dark series!
HELL BENT is out January 10, 2023 from Flatiron Books. Find it on: Goodreads // Amazon
THE NEXT MRS. PARRISH (The Last Mrs. Parrish #2) by Liv Constantine (cover to come)
I really enjoyed THE LAST MRS. PARRISH and I found out there’s a new book coming out in relation to this one! It looks like it’ll be a sequel with a title like the “next” Mrs. Parrish but there’s little to be found about it on Goodreads so far, but it looks like it exists!
This book has been one that’s grown on me since I read it. It’s definitely stuck with me and made me even more excited for a sequel! I’m not normally in for a sequel long after a book that maybe wasn’t even expected to have one but I’m definitely feeling this and interested to see where it goes.
THE NEXT MRS. PARRISH does not have a release date you, but you can still find it on Goodreads
Which sequels are you dying to read? Let me know!
