TheBlog

Name & Blog Name: Kelsey from Kelsey’s Cluttered Bookshelf
Tell us a little about your blog! I review mostly YA but will look into almost anything that catches my interest! I started book blogging because I love to read and it seemed like lots of fun!
What’s been your favorite post you’ve written so far? (Link us up!) My favourite post has definitely been this one: How I got my fiancé to read. I just had so much fun writing it, and it’s the first personal piece I put up.
Got anything special coming up we should know about?
I have my 2 year Blogoversary coming up in August, but no idea what I’m going to do for it just yet! I had bloggers do guest posts and I had a big giveaway last year, so I will see how I can top it this time.

TheBook

Whatcha reading? Tarnish by Katherine Longshore
Where did it come from? (Library, purchased, publisher, etc) I borrowed it from the library! They actually have a pretty good selection of books.
Any special reason you chose to feature this book? It just happens to be the one I’m currently reading, but I’m also starting to get into historical fiction! Also the cover is really pretty.
What’s important that we should know about this book? Would you recommend it? I’m loving it so far, it’s a different take on Anne Boleyn, one of Henry VIII’s wives. Definitely recommend it at the moment!

Whatcha drinking? Water with ice, which is perfect for the heat we are having here.
What’s your favorite thing to drink while reading? On the weekend I love a good cup of tea, but during the week anything like juice or water is good. I’m not really picky.
Favorite beverage of all time. Go! I think at the moment it’s Iced Tea! I so wish I had some right now too, but homemade is the best and I need the ingredients.

Bonus

What are your top three books you would recommend to other people? Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas, Something Strange and Deadly by Susan Dennard, and Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo (Siege and Storm was awesome too!).
What’s your proudest blogging/reading/writing moment? I think my proudest moment in blogging so far was reaching my 1 year! I was so surprised that I kept this up at the time, I wasn’t sure how long it would really last, but I stuck with it and I’m so glad I did.
Anything else you’d like to share? I want to thank Brittany for having me on here! Keep reading what you love, guys!

EXCELLENT recommendations, Kelsey! Some of my personal favorites!! 🙂 So happy to have you on Book and a Beverage!

Clearly, based on your book recommendations Kelsey, we were meant to be friends. I adore all three titles that you picked out!
