Welcome back to BOOK AND A BEVERAGE!
In case you don’t know the deal about Book and a Beverage, it’s a very simple yet fun feature: We read books, we drink beverages, we take pictures of them and then I share your photos and a little about you to the blogging world!
Give a big welcome to Fiona from The Book Voyage!
Name & Blog Name: Fiona and The Book Voyage
Tell us a little about your blog! The Book Voyage started as a book blog and has only recently grown to become a blog that reflects my personal life a little more. I’ve been struggling with posting consistently, but I’m definitely going to work on it for 2014.
What’s been your favorite post you’ve written so far? (Link us up!) My favorite review is one I did in July for Etiquette and Espionage by Gail Carriger
Got anything special coming up we should know about? As far as the blog goes, no unfortunately. My blog has been put on a sort of unofficial hiatus due to college getting the best of me.
Whatcha reading? The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde
Where did it come from? (Library, purchased, publisher, etc) I bought it at Half-Priced Books.
Any special reason you chose to feature this book? I am currently reading it for my novels class. I’ve never read it before, but I am really excited to start it!
What’s important that we should know about this book? Would you recommend it? If I have enough to say on it, there is a chance I may review it even though I usually don’t review books I read for class.
Whatcha drinking? Irish Breakfast Tea
What’s your favorite thing to drink while reading? I love to wake up early on weekends and drink coffee while reading. It gives me the opportunity to relax.
Favorite beverage of all time. Go! A vanilla latte from my favorite Kansas City coffeehouse.
What are your top three books you would recommend to other people? The Fault in Our Stars by John Green, Pivot Point by Kasie West, and The Name of the Star by Maureen Johnson
What’s your proudest blogging/reading/writing moment? I have no idea. The best has yet to come!
Anything else you’d like to share? Thank you for having me!
Thanks, Fiona!! I look forward to getting to you know better! Getting up early and drinking coffee and reading is EXACTLY how I spend my weekends! I love it! 🙂
I also read Dorian Gray a couple years ago (I never read classics) and I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it!

Yay, it’s nice to meet you Fiona! I can understand college taking precedence over blogging. Real life will beat blogging any day 🙂
