“Which is more dangerous: being an international spy… or surviving high school?
Maggie Silver has never minded her unusual life. Cracking safes for the world’s premier spy organization and traveling the world with her insanely cool parents definitely beat high school and the accompanying cliques, bad lunches, and frustratingly simple locker combinations. (If it’s three digits, why bother locking it at all?)
But when Maggie and her parents are sent to New York City for her first solo assignment, her world is transformed. Suddenly, she’s attending a private school with hundreds of “mean girl” wannabes, trying to avoid the temptation to hack the school’s elementary security system, and working to befriend the aggravatingly cute son of a potential national security threat… all while trying not to blow her cover.” –– From Goodreads

“Being permanently based in a local New York City high school as an undercover operative has its moments, good and bad, for 16-year-old safecracker Maggie Silver. Pros: More quality time with her former mark-turned-boyfriend Jesse Oliver and insanely cool best friend, Roux. Getting to spend quality time with her semi-retired and international spy honorary uncle, Angelo. Cons: High school and the accompanying cliques, bad lunches, and frustratingly simple locker combinations. But when Maggie’s parents are falsely accused of stealing priceless gold coins, Maggie uses her safecracking skills to try and clear their names. Too bad it only serves to put her and everyone she loves in danger. Maggie and her “new team” flee to Paris where they must come up with a plan to defeat their former allies.” –– From Goodreads

I’ve actually read both Also Known As and Going Rogue and LOVED them! I think Robin Benway excels at creating characters that are easy to fall in love with and putting them into stories that are fascinating from start to end. I want more of these characters and this world… pretty please?

  2. Tara

I haven’t read either, but I love lady spies and I’ve heard many good things. I would be excited to add these books to my collection of awesome-lady books!

  3. Katie @ Polished Page-Turner

I recently picked up Also Known As from the library but had to return it before I got to read it. Given all the positive things everyone has been saying about not only book 1 but book 2 as well I think I will have to check it out again!

  4. Sarah

    I actually haven’t read this yet D:
It seems similar to The Gallagher Girls series, so I really want to read both of these!!

  5. Tammy

I read the first book and really liked it. There’s a bit of a mystery at the end so I’m looking forward to Going Rogue to get some answers.

  6. Kay @ It's a Book Life

I loved Also Known As, I got it from the library a while ago, it was one of my favorite reads of 2013! It was so much fun! I can’t wait to see more spy stuff and to get more time with Roux, because she is just hilarious. I hope there are some scenes with all three teens working together again, (it sounds like there will be) that was one of my favorite parts of the book. 🙂

  7. Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl

I loved Also Known As! I just read it last week, and am reading Going Rogue right now. I love these books! I can’t believe it took me so long to read AKA. They are so funny, and I love Maggie and Roux’s friendship. The snark! It’s all so wonderful. Thanks for the giveaway! I would love finished copies of these for my shelves. 🙂
