Name & Blog Name: Hello, my friends!! I’m Britt from Please Feed The Bookworm. I also blog over at Winterhaven Books.
Tell us a little about your blog! “A mostly young adult book reviews written by a mostly young adult” I adore hype so I tend to gravitate towards the most talked about books out there! Although I have a special penchant for all things fantasy so that makes up a huge part of my TBR.
What’s been your favorite post you’ve written so far? (Link us up!) I had just had my blog design redone and felt like I was stepping out so this post was my favorite. It was hosted by Cuddlebuggery and called Getting To Know You. Also my review of the Throne of Glass series since Sarah J. Maas is a unicorn and this is MY FAVORITE!!
Got anything special coming up we should know about? ALL the awesome book seem to be coming out in the month of September so Bookworm will be jam-packed with reviews galore. I’ve got a few tricks up my sleeve for the upcoming fall season but my lips are sealed for now. There will also definitely be some awesome authors featured at Winterhaven Books for our October Fright Fest! Look out for guest posts and giveaways!

book

Whatcha reading? Spinning Starlight by R.C. Lewis
Where did it come from? (Library, purchased, publisher, etc): DISNEY!! I met an awesome contact at BEA so I am very fortunate.
Any special reason you chose to feature this book? Since Fantasy is my hands down favorite genre I felt I had to feature a retelling of sorts. I am eating up all of these spins on classic fairytales. Keep ’em comin’!!!
What’s important that we should know about this book? Would you recommend it? Well I just started it so I can’t recommend it just yet but, I know that Mrs. Lewis is able to twist tales into something fresh. I can’t wait to see her twist on things.

beverageWhatcha drinking? Iced Chai Latte with soy milk from Starbucks. My lovely friends Pili and Sadja turned me onto these at BEA and I haven’t looked back since! It’s perfect for those hot summer days.
What’s your favorite thing to drink while reading? I’m so boring but WATER! I love water. If I need a caffeine boost I add a Crystal Light energy packet to the bottle and BAM! I’m good to go (like I need anymore caffeine right?)
Favorite beverage of all time. Go! I am a Dr. Pepper fiend. This is only a special occasion drink though since soda is bad for you.

bonus

What are your top three books you would recommend to other people? Throne of Glass series by Sarah Maas for reasons, anything by Alice Hoffman since she is the queen of historical fiction, and The Raven Cycle series!!
What’s your proudest blogging/reading/writing moment? Attending BEA was such an amazing experience. What made it even cooler was people coming up to me saying they loved my blog, twitter account, etc!! I still can’t believe people read my ramblings and enjoy them!! Super cool to hang out with some of the people I have come to call close friends as well! I can’t wait for next year!!
Anything else you’d like to share? I am so happy to be a part of this brilliant community and please feel free to chat me up anytime!! I love gushing over…well anything really so feel free to chatter about ANYTHING!! I’d also like to thank you Brittany and Alyssa and Amy for creating one of my favorite projects with the On The Same Page Secret Sisters. It has brought me so close to so many girls! 🙂

Thanks, name twin 😉 So happy to have you on the blog today! I always love your enthusiasm and I’m SO glad we got to meet at BEA this year! As always, your recs are on point!

Wow! This is great! Fairytale retellings are my favorite so A) I’m glad to hear about Spinning Starlight and B) I’m glad to hear about a book blogger who AGREES THEY’RE THE BEST THING EVER. Thanks for introducing me to Brittany. Clearly she knows what’s going on…especially if she drinks chai lattes. I can tell I need to get over to her blog right now!

Spinning Starlight is SO beautiful! I need to start this one soon before my books start piling up on me.

I’m currently reading the Raven Cycle series and I’m really liking it!
