Name & Blog Name:  Lynette at Charmingly Simple
Tell us a little about your blog! I started my humble blog last summer after by complete accident stumbling across this wonderful community. I haven’t thought of ever going back and hope to continue to grow and meets such wonderful people!
What’s been your favorite post you’ve written so far? (Link us up!) My favorite post that I’ve written has got to be my feature for The Crown’s Game. This was the first blog tour that I was a part of and it just made me want to be included in so many more for such awesome books! Plus, I love thinking about if I had powers which ones I would rather have!
Got anything special coming up we should know about? I will be attending BEA for the first time in Chicago this year! I am beyond ecstatic to not only meet authors, learn about wonderful new books, but to meet face to face some of the lovely ladies and gents I have met through various social media outlets this year.

book

Whatcha reading? The Wise Mans Fear by Patrick Rothfuss
Where did it come from? (Library, purchased, publisher, etc) Purchased (had to get the large AWESOMELY FLOPPY edition even though I had the mass paper back already)
Any special reason you chose to feature this book? It’s a beast of a book and I am completely afraid that I am going to abandon it for reading books that are less hefty. Seriously, I could read 3 books for the price of this book. But I LOVED The Name of the Wind and I want to continue the adventure. So if I feature it here it will give me an extra sense of accountability to finish this beast!
What’s important that we should know about this book? Would you recommend it? I would completely recommend this book. You should read The Name of the Wind first though, there is a LOT of things that happen. Some are explained, some are not. Be warned though, there is a LOT of information and a lot of build up for this series in The Name of the Wind and if you are hungry for a edge of your seat action intense book you might want to look elsewhere. There IS action, it’s just smashed in the center of an sandwich of detail.

beverage

Whatcha drinking? Coffee with Cold Stone Sweet Cream Creamer
What’s your favorite thing to drink while reading? I usually don’t drink anything while reading to be honest. I am a stickler for keeping my books nice and I don’t want to spill anything on them. Now a day I know I won’t spill anything but having a 2 ½ year old and a 1-year-old who love to grab things from my hand…. accidents happen!
Favorite beverage of all time. Go! Chai Tea Latte. Love chai.

bonus

What are your top three books you would recommend to other people? Wolf by Wolf by Ryan Graudin for anyone wanting an AWESOMELY action packed book that will punch you in the feels. Assassin’s Apprentice by Robin Hobb if you are looking for a high fantasy that will keep you up until the wee hours of the morning reading. Every Last Word by Tamara Ireland Stone if you want an emotional look at mental illness that will rip your heart open.
What’s your proudest blogging/reading/writing moment? As I said earlier, I felt extremely proud to be included in The Tsar New Year Parade for The Crown’s Game. I have also been included in a few more in the next month or so.
Anything else you’d like to share? Nothing, but I am so happy to be included in this feature and I would like to extend my thanks for Brittany for allowing me this opportunity!

Thanks, Lynette! HECK YES Patrick Rothfuss is amazing and I just adore his books so, so much. I can’t wait to read Assassin’s Apprentice and Every Last Word too!!
