It’s Top Ten Tuesday, hosted by the wonderful blog at The Broke and the Bookish! This week’s topic was Ten 2017 Debuts I’m Looking Forward To

I feel like I’ve had a hard time with debuts lately but then I look back and 2016 debuts like THE LOVE THAT SPLIT THE WORLD, THE CROWN’S GAME, and REBEL OF THE SANDS which were some of my favorite books of the year! 2017 has a lot to promise as well and these are some debuts that I’ll be making room for!

TO CATCH A KILLER by Sheryl Scarborough

Sheryl Scarborogh has a few other works listed on Goodreads but this appears to be the first full-length YA novel. I love mystery/thrillers and this sounds perfect for me!

QUEENS OF GEEK by Jen Wylde

I’ve had a hard time with Swoon Reads books but this one looked too cute to pass up! I love geek-chic and this sounds like so much fun!

GEEKERELLA by Ashley Poston

I’m actually reading this right now and it’s super cute! Everything is stacking up to create an adorable and geeky romance.

IT STARTED WITH GOODBYE by Christina June

This book sounds positively wonderful and I’ve been fortunate enough to meet and hang out with the lovely Christina June at BEA! I’m so excited that she’s going to have her novel published and I can’t wait to read it this year!!

ROYAL BASTARDS by Andrew Shvarts

This just sounds like YA Gentlemen Bastards with a possible Game of Thrones feel… But really, it’s high fantasy and I’m all in.

DAUGHTER OF THE BURNING CITY by Amanda Foody

This totally sounds like it might have a Night Circus feel and I need it in my life ASAP!

SHIMMER AND BURN by Mary Taranta

Magic, family, danger, and look how gorgeous this cover is! Plus, it’s a duology and I can totally get behind that.

I’m a few short of ten, but those are the 2017 debuts I’m most excited for! I have a few more on TBR that are debuts but I don’t know if I’m super psyched about them. These are the ones I definitely want to make a priority!
