Top Ten Tuesday: June 6, 2017 – Ten Books Recently Added to My TBR

It’s Top Ten Tuesday, hosted by the wonderful blog at The Broke and the Bookish! This week’s topic:
Ten books recently added to my TBR

This was technically supposed to be broken down by genre but since I haven’t been adding much to my lists recently (I have way too many things — 1001 books, to be exact) that I still want to read to add everything so I’m just picking the most recent things that I’ve added!

THE HANGING GIRL by Eileen Cook
I still have yet to read a book by Eileen Cook and yet ALL of them are on my TBR! They just sound so good but somehow they’ve all gotten pushed to the back burner. Nevertheless, THE HANGING GIRL is on my TBR and I grabbed this one from Edelweiss!

CHANGES IN LATITUDES by Jen Malone
I’m not totally sure if this is my kind of topic right off the bat but I adored Jen Malone’s previous book, WANDERLOST, and would love to read more form her!

NOTEWORTHY by Riley Redgate
Acapella was really all you needed to say for this one.

NOGGIN by Johh Corey Whaley
I don’t know how this wasn’t on my TBR because I’ve actually had for… several years. I figured it out the other day so it was time to add it!

TOP TEN by Katie Cotugno
Was there ever a better book to be on Top Ten Tuesday? I actually recently finished FIREWORKS, which was the first book I’ve ever read from her, and it wasn’t really what I had hoped so I’m a bit hesitant about TOP TEN now… BUT it sounds like it’s a book that’s much more my style so I hope it goes well!

NICE TRY, JANE SINNER by Lianne Oelke
This sounds kind of satirical and funny and an interesting concept! I grabbed it from Edelweiss but it doesn’t come out until January so I have some time to read it!

AND THEN THERE WERE FOUR by Nancy Werlin
This actually wasn’t originally on my TBR when I first saw it because it sounded a little slasher film/cheesy but I received a copy from the publisher and I’m totally willing to give it a shot now that I have it! I’m always up for a mystery/thriller so we’ll see how it goes!

ALCATRAZ VS. THE KNIGHTS OF CRYSTALLIA by Brandon Sanderson
I’m making my way through Brandon Sanderson’s entire works, even the middle grade series! The Alcatraz books are a little silly but quick and fun so I’ve started a mini-binge. I’ve listened to the first two on audio and added the rest of the series to by TBR. I added books 3-5 all at once so I’m just listing book #3 to count for all of them for this list’s purpose!

THE QUEEN OF ATTOLIA by Megan Whelan Turner
Same deal here — I added THE THIEF waaaay back when to my TBR but I didn’t want to add the rest of the series until I knew I enjoyed the first book… but I received the entire series for review on audio from Harper so I added the rest of the series all at once, the second book here standing in for the rest of the whole series. I just started THE THIEF yesterday so I’m curious to see how it goes!!

THE INFINITY OF YOU AND ME by J.Q. Coyle
This book doesn’t have the best rating on Goodreads (3.43 stars) BUT it only has 150 ratings and 51 reviews. You also just never know when you’ll love a book when others don’t so it’s on my TBR because it piqued my interest. I am suchhhhh a sucker pa06rallel worlds that I’m willing to try anything. Plus that cover is gorgeous!

So those are ten books that I’ve recently added to my TBR! Are any of these recent adds for you? Anything that’s already been on your TBR forever or books that I should get to ASAP?
